Sedona weatherArea Information

Sedona is known for its majestic red rock formations, and surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. Some of these wind-shaped formations are the oldest exposed rocks on earth, and are just one of the reasons that people find their way to this location in Northern Arizona. Others come for the unique western beauty, the spiritual energy, the thriving arts community, world class hiking, and golf. Whatever the reason, you can find a vibrant community with clear air, dramatic scenery, and beautiful Arizona sunsets. Recently voted by USA Today as the most beautiful city in the United States.

A high desert community of 4,500 feet, Sedona's weather is generally mild, escaping the desert heat of Southern Arizona, and the mountain snow to the north is just a short drive away. However, Sedona still offers plenty of sunshine, with summer temperatures of 95 F and moderate rainfall. Even though it seldom snows in Sedona, you may still catch a glimpse of a dusting of snow on the Red Rocks and surrounding mountains.
